We are Beverly and Emily, Canasta and American Mah Jongg Instructors in the Greater Boston Area and Cape Cod. As a mother-daughter duo, we have been game enthusiasts our entire lives and wish to spread the love of canasta to the greater community. Bev has been playing Canasta for over 60 years and Emily, who learned as a kid, has now been playing for over 30 years. We know the game inside and out and have taught Canasta to hundreds of students through community groups such as Needham Community Education, JCC of Greater Boston, Wellesley Council on Aging, Newton Community Education, Arlington Community Education, Brae Burn Country Club, and privately both in person and online.

Bev is a retired teacher, principal and special education administrator. Emily is a current high school special education teacher. We bring our professional knowledge of teaching, learning, and curriculum development to help break down the games in a friendly and approachable way.
