Rag-N-Bone Studio

Founded in 2011 by artist & designer Dante DeStefano, Rag-N-Bone Studios is a multimedia creative company for weirdos like you. Art is my compass and directs me in everything I do. Whether it’s designing art for my own projects or helping others improve theirs, I’m motivated by a drive to always improve my drawing, painting, fiber craft, and design skills with every piece.

I am an Atlanta, Georgia native. I currently live and work in A-Town from my home studio. As I grew up here, I’ve watched Atlanta evolve around me into an expanding creative metropolis. When I was younger, I thought I’d have to move away to find opportunities like the ones coming to Atlanta, now. There are many unique neighborhoods throughout the city and there’s always new things to explore right in my own backyard.

I’m inspired by the rustic beauty of the South. I also love things like monsters, puppets, dinosaurs, queer comics, yoga, horror and dumb stoner movies, orange, bats, nature, dogs, cats, gardening, sweet tea, beaches, drawing, podcasts, and creating weird creatures in my head.

I like to make things that create a feeling of joy and harmony. There is only so much time in life, it’s best spent doing things that make me smile. My favorite media are digital, watercolor, & oil painting and video. I love using bright colors in my work. My design strengths are accentuating the 2D and painterly qualities of each piece. My favorite things to design are characters and the worlds that surround them. My Southern roots often inform the work that I do.
