Antenatal classes for women and partners booked at Mid Yorkshire Trust or seeing a Mid Yorkshire Community Midwife.

We run a selection of classes that cover antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal information.

The content covered in the face-to-face classes are:

• Class 1 - labour and birth.
• Class 2 - Induction and interventions (assisted birth&caesarean).
• Class 3 - Early days with your baby and expectations of newborns.
• Class 4 - Infant feeding and practical baby cares.

*We run the sessions on a Wednesday and Thursday evening and rotate after a four week block around Wakefield, Pontefract and Dewsbury. We also do two sessions online which run on an afternoon, these are split into to class 1 and 2 and then class 3 and 4.
