Jewish Young Community - JYC New Jersey (JYC) helps Jewish adults ages 21–39 build lasting friendships through welcoming, low-pressure events in Morristown and across northern and central New Jersey.

Founded in 2022 as a project of Morristown Jewish Center Beit Yisrael, JYC offers Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, social gatherings, outdoor activities, Jewish learning, community service, and small recurring groups. Come solo or bring a friend—no membership or prior religious knowledge is required.

New to JYC? Request first-event support from a host who can connect beforehand, meet you near the entrance, and make introductions. Our event pages provide clear arrival, cost, dietary, accessibility, registration, and program details so you know what to expect.

JYC welcomes varied Jewish backgrounds, identities, relationships, and levels of observance. Programs primarily serve adults ages 21–39 in Morristown, Morris County, and communities across northern and central New Jersey.
