Hercules Library

Hercules Library is a branch of the Contra Costa County Library system located at 109 Civic Drive, Hercules CA.

The Hercules Library is a state-of-the-art facility built collaboratively by the City of Hercules, the State of California and Contra Costa County. In addition, civic organizations and individuals provided substantial donations to support its construction. Its architecture gorgeously and effectively provides library users with a diverse range of spaces; some areas feel meditative, others invigorating. The library's 21,500 square feet include a Teen Room, two meeting rooms, three study rooms, a Sky Garden, a Children's Garden, a children's interactive play area called the Starry Cone, the Friends of the Hercules Library Bookstore, and a reading area with comfortable seating with views of the surrounding city, and lots of natural light.
