Florence Carter
Hi, I'm Florence—though most people know me as Flo.
I'm a passionate designer and maker with a love for metalworking. I originally trained as a jeweller and silversmith, and over the years, I’ve gained experience across a range of industries, including interiors and education. I hold a Master’s degree in Design, specialising in jewellery and metalwork, and now run my own independent jewellery brand, Didi Cor. For more insight into my work and background, feel free to explore Object Cor.
Why do I run workshops?
Because I love helping people connect with the joy of making. There’s something incredibly rewarding about creating something from scratch, by hand, that’s not only beautiful but built to last. Most of my workshops focus on jewellery-making, but the skills you'll learn can easily be applied to a range of creative practices.
One of my favourite techniques to teach is sand casting—a fun, accessible process that offers a brilliant introduction to working with metal. Whether you're after a one-off creative day out or looking to build on existing jewellery skills, my workshops are designed to be inspiring, hands-on, and rewarding.
