CSCC Future Technicians Learning Community

The Future Technicians Learning Community (FTLC) is an initiative at Columbus State Community College that supports students pursuing careers in Engineering Technologies. FTLC provides students with industry exposure, professional development, and networking opportunities through employer-led events such as facility tours, panel discussions, info sessions, and hands-on learning experiences.

Designed to bridge the gap between education and employment, FTLC connects students with local employers to explore career pathways, understand workforce expectations, and build meaningful industry relationships. Through strategic partnerships and year-round programming, FTLC prepares the next generation of skilled technicians to meet the evolving needs of Central Ohio’s advanced manufacturing, engineering, and technology sectors.
