CACHE: Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange
About CACHE (Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange)
CACHE formed in 2019 to act as the central regional agency committed to connecting, supporting, and developing the Northwest Arkansas region’s arts, culture, and creative communities. CACHE brings cohesive vision and strategy to the region’s organic creative activities, uplifting local artists, the nonprofit sector, municipal leadership, creative industries, and arts philanthropy and investments. We envision Northwest Arkansas as a sustainable cauldron of innovation, where creatives are equitably valued - both in themselves, and as vital contributors to the authentic vibrancy and economic prosperity of their communities.
CACHE programs and initiatives include the Creative Exchange Fund (CXF), Arts and Culture Bridge Fund, OZCast, the Municipal Arts Alliance, The Medium (transitioning from former name “214”, a multidisciplinary creative hub), and more than 40 others.
Our Ecosystem:
CACHE thinks about the creative economy comprehensively - meaning that we knit together nonprofits, businesses, academia, government, individual artists, creatives, and more. But we also believe that creatives are at the core of a thriving, innovative marketplace, and a self-sufficient, sustainable ecosystem. Across all of our work, we are guided by a single idea - CACHE is in service to the artists, creatives and culture-bearers of our wider region. We serve them how they work (as a nonprofit, for-profit, or solo entrepreneur) and where they work. The full community and economic potential of the region’s creative ecosystems is unrealized.
Our Conviction:
The democratization of arts, culture and creativity builds an inspiring, inclusive creative marketplace.
Our Commitment:
We celebrate and supports artists and organizations of every size and type, but we focus our energy on emerging, underrepresented, and underinvested
pockets of creativity.
