Annie Weisbrod
Dr. Annie Weisbrod, owner of Resilience Arts & Science. I am a unique kind of therapist and teacher who supports people to improve their health and happiness. I do this through online educational courses in meditation and resiliency, coaching in lifestyle medicine, and healing (bio-elecromagentic fields).
I began this journey many years ago from a place of severe physical and emotional pain. I slowly crawled out of a dark hole through educating myself, exploring many approaches, and doing what worked. I discovered there is something within us that doesn’t break. I continue certain practices and evolving them because it is fascinating, healthy, I feel whole and loving, and recognize great connection and joy with all beings. For 3 decades, I have been passionate in all forms of my work to have a positive impact on people and the environment. Thus I choose to make my sessions broadly accessible and affordable; most are donation-based and global (you choose the price depending on your situation).
I have worked globally as an environmental sustainability expert and wellbeing teacher for 3 decades, investing 10,000+ hours in my own education and practice. I am a Ph.D. scientist (toxicology, marine sciences), and Certified health coach, fitness trainer, & behavior change specialist (American Council on Exercise). I have taught thousands of people through corporate and public classes on meditation, stress resiliency, listening, emotional intelligence, compassionate communication, and coaching behavior change. I have worked on many cross-functional expert teams and published dozens of studies across 5 fields of science (from environmental protection to psychology).
I am also an advanced energy healer, yogi, and meditation teacher, and have studied extensively with several Masters. I hold certifications as a Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki Master (Level VII) and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master (Level IV), but I predominantly am an intuitive and holistic healer. I started doing yoga before it was popular (1996), am a certified advanced teacher (eRYT-500, YACEP), and after 20+ years, have evolved a unique approach incorporating prana/qi energy practices with proper alignment and focus. Since 2000, I have been a Zen practitioner, was Abbot of the Cincinnati Zen Center, and participated in >150 silent retreats (they are always a good time, after one is accustomed to them).
