A small and friendly workshop to discover the truth behind “crystal energy,” where we explore myths, personal beliefs, and scientific perspectives side by side—and also learn how to buy genuine natural stones wisely.

Full Event Description
“Crystal Truths: From Myth to Science” is led by a gemologist with a PhD from the University of Lyon, who has spent years working in gemological laboratories, European museums (including identifying turquoise in historical artifacts such as Balzac’s cane in Paris), and international gemstone projects.

Held in English and hosted in Lyon, this workshop begins with an accessible, non-therapeutic discussion about why so many people feel improved well-being with crystals. We will take a scientific look at crystal healing, clarifying the boundaries between personal belief, individual experience, and scientific evidence.

In the practical part, participants will work hands-on with real, natural stones; seeing and touching them up close as they learn several practical criteria to distinguish genuine stones from glass and fakes during purchase, enabling more informed choices.

This is an intimate group limited to a maximum of 10 participants, ensuring everyone has a chance for personal questions and hands-on practice. Midway through, there will be a light refreshment break(drinks and snacks). At the end, all attendees will receive a workshop participation certificate and a special Valentine’s Day surprise gift.
