I'm Micayla Wiltron, Family Assistance Specialist, for the California Army National Guard, based at the Army Reserve Center in Mt View, CA.

Military families deal with family separations as a lifestyle, whether for job training, or deployments to stateside or overseas contingencies. 

Operation We Care (OWC) Meetings are intended to offer social contact with our military families in various stages of the deployment cycle, learning to cope with reintegration as well as learning the fundamental skills of being a resilient and enduring spouse.  The informational element of the OWC Meetings is the staple of these events but we've included whenever possible, some fun, skill-building activities to expand awareness and build resilient families.

I collaborate often with my Family Readiness counterparts of all branches of services in Santa Clara county and beyond.  Often, you'll find me collaborating with my Army Reserves counterpart as well as my Air National Guard counterpart working seamlessly to ensure your your inquiries and concerns are sufficently addressed.

It is my goal to provide you with meaningful information and connect you with "on target" resources to help strenthen your family unit.  I welcome your inquiries and am happy to help.
