‘The Application of the EAPO Regulation in Luxembourg: 7 years on'

Abstract:

The book ‘The Application of the European Account Preservation Order in Germany, Luxembourg and Spain: A Comparative – Empirical Analysis’ by Carlos Santaló Goris offers a comparative study on the application of the European Account Preservation Order (‘EAPO’) in three jurisdictions: Germany, Luxembourg, and Spain. It aims to understand the incorporation of the EAPO procedure within a national civil procedural system and the impact national law has on the EAPO procedure as a whole. The comparative approach determines how different the EAPO procedure applies from one Member State to another. This book launch event aims at exploring the main contributions of the book to the understanding of the EAPO in its interaction with the national legal systems of the referred jurisdictions. Following the introduction and presentation of the book, a roundtable will be held with experts and practitioners from Luxembourg to discuss the main issues related to the application of the EAPO in this country.
