Description

Dear Members and new participants,

we are a Swiss CyberSecurity Community of IT Security experts and enthusiasts where we exchange ideas, we grow professionally and we build relationships with the community members.

Open-source software gives you freedom, but it does not come with a security guarantee. Join us to take a closer look and learn about benefits of individual open-source projects, but also shortcomings you need to take care of.

Our speakers:
Christian Folini is a medieval historian working as a security engineer and open source enthusiast. He is the author of the second edition of the ModSecurity Handbook and one of the few teachers on this subject. Also related to ModSecurity, he is a Co-Lead of the OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set project. Christian serves as vice president of the Swiss federal public-private-partnership "Swiss Cyber Experts" and as the program chair of the "Swiss Cyber Storm" conference.

Matteo Mazzeri, Tuleap & libre software advocate started developing low level auto-diagnostic embedded systems 1990 using GNU Emacs and Unix SUN workstations. After over 20 years developing he started sharing his experience doing conferences. He has co-founded Responsive City Camps to co-design smart cities with human centred design, transparence and cybersecurity as basic principles.

Mauro Verderosa is a CISSP certified security expert with more than 15 years of experience in the domain of Identity & Access Management and he participated in the most important projects in Switzerland and Europe. Furthermore, he is a keynote speaker in the most important CyberSecurity conferences in Switzerland, the main editor of the book “Continuous Monitoring” written with the security group founded by Oracle and author of CyberSecurity articles.
