Satellite-based Services for Disaster Risk Management Workshop in Lithuania

This workshop brings together experts, practitioners, and decision-makers working at the intersection of disaster risk management and space-based innovation. Organised by the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) and Eurisy, in collaboration with the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy and innovation and the Lithuanian Innovation Agency, the event focuses on how satellite-based services can support more effective preparedness, response, and recovery in the face of disasters.

Participants will explore real-world applications, share experiences, and discuss current challenges and future needs for integrating space data into operational workflows.

The workshop also aims to strengthen collaboration between national and European stakeholders and encourage the wider uptake of satellite-enabled solutions in disaster risk management.
