Tour Description: The Picasso Museum in Paris holds the largest collection in the world of works by the most important artist of the 20th C. Housed in a beautiful 17th C town mansion in the Marais, especially renovated as a museum, the permanent collection illustrates all the periods of Pablo Picasso: From his beginnings in Barcelona and his first experimentations in Paris, to his reaction to the World Wars and his mature age that led him to introspection. Portraits, stll lifes, ceramics and sculptures are explained and help understand his input in contemporary culture, despite the controversies surrounding his personal life.

Please remember to sign up and/or cancel within set deadlines. This helps SSA Paris to avoid unnecessary costs and to plan for attendance. Late cancellations and no shows prevent other members from joining activities. Showing up without registration may result in disappointment if no space is available. Late cancellation or no show may result in a request for reimbursement of costs to SSA Paris. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

If you'd like, please bring some change to tip the tour guide (not mandatory, but greatly appreciated).
