CONTEXT
This workshop is part of the workshop series that Volumes is organizing within the framework of the Driven initiative.
Driven by Volumes is an incubation program aiming to embed Advanced Computational Design Strategies in Early Stage Entrepreneurship for Circular Economy.
The program is developed within the EU H2020 funded project Reflow.
WORKSHOP BRIEF
Computational design allows designers to program the behavior of a complex architectural system such as the building facades. By defining parameters and relations we can design in a flexible environment which allows us to test several design options in a fraction of time compared to the traditional design approach.
Computational design applied to circular economy and material reuse allow us to rethink and rearrange existing elements into new layout suitable for temporary activities in the urban environment.
