We have the distinct pleasure to welcome Angeles Garcia-Poveda, Chair of the Board of Legrand since July 1, 2020.
She joined the Board as an independent director in 2012 and was appointed Lead Director in 2013. She chaired the Nominations and Governance Committee and the Remuneration Committee and sits on the Commitments and CSR Committee .
Angeles joined Spencer Stuart in 2008 within the Paris office. After being Managing Director for France during five years, she led Spencer Stuart's EMEA region for three years and served on the global executive committee. She served as an elected director on the Global Supervisory Board from 2018 to 2021. She was a senior advisor within the Governance practice until 2023. Before joining Spencer Stuart, Angeles Garcia-Poveda worked for fourteen years at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Madrid and Paris as a strategy consultant, before taking on various recruitment assignments at local, international and global level.
Angeles serves as a board member at Bridgepoint plc, and Puig SA. She is a member of the Haut Comité de Gouvernement d’Entreprise since 2023.
She also sits at the Executive Council of MEDEF, the Board of Institut de la Finance Durable and the advisory board of the Climate Governance Initiative. She is a former Director of AdVini, Edenred, Institut Français des Administrateurs and NEOMA.
Angeles graduated from ICADE in Madrid and NEOMA in Reims and completed the Business Case Study Program at Harvard University.
