HBV-CARE 2026

HBV-CARE 2026

Overview

HBV CARE 2026 will explore decentralised HBV care in an era of a changing treatment landscape.

This year’s HBV‑CARE meeting will bring together communicators, advocates, clinicians, researchers, and community representatives to explore how decentralised HBV care can be designed, implemented and communicated with diverse stakeholders. Throughout the day, we will hear from people working at the forefront of HBV innovation and care, learn from real‑world examples of decentralised models in diverse settings, and examine the communication strategies and challenges that shape public understanding, from stigma and misinformation to the practical realities of accessing care in migrant, rural, or resource‑limited contexts.

Afternoon workshops will provide a collaborative space to co‑produce research, implementation and communication strategies that reflect lived experience and resonate across different communities, with input from specialists in journalism, storytelling and public engagement. Our goal is to generate practical outputs, from ideas for new projects to information materials,  media‑ready narratives and implementation guides.

The meeting will be held in a fully hybrid format, with the in-person session taking place at the Francis Crick Institute. For people coming in person, the venue is wheelchair accessible, and we will provide a variety of food options to cater for everyone's needs. To help us create a comfortable and inclusive experience for everyone, please share any preferences or requirements in the registration form or reach out to us directly.

We hope to see you there!
