Nice Pottery Club – meetup nº1

First meetup at a ceramic painting café, all welcome! / Premier rendez-vous dans un café céramique, tout le monde est le bienvenu !

🇬🇧 We're just getting started! This first event is a casual get-together at a ceramic painting café — no clay needed — to meet each other and see if there's enough interest to move to the next step: setting up a regular weekly group, and eventually our own shared studio in Nice.
The event itself is free, but each participant pays for their own piece (€15–60 depending on what you choose, see palette-et-tartelette.fr) and coffee.

Cette première rencontre est un moment informel dans un café de peinture sur céramique — pas besoin d'argile — pour faire connaissance et voir s'il y a assez d'intérêt pour passer à l'étape suivante : lancer un groupe hebdomadaire, et à terme ouvrir notre propre atelier partagé à Nice.
L'événement en soi est gratuit, mais chaque participant paie sa pièce (15–60€ selon ce que vous choisissez, voir palette-et-tartelette.fr) et ses consommations.

You've taken a pottery class, made your first bowl or mug — and now you want more. Maybe you're on a waiting list for a weekly studio class. Maybe you just want extra time with clay between sessions. Either way, this group is for you.

Nice Pottery Club is a relaxed, self-directed group for people who have already learned the basics of hand built pottery and want to keep their hands in the clay. There's no teacher and no syllabus — just a small group of enthusiasts working at their own pace and enjoying the process together.

Where we're headed:

2. 🔜 Set up a non-profit association (loi 1901) and hold weekly hand-building sessions at a Maison des associations
3. 🔜 Sign a lease and open our own shared studio in Nice

Le Nice Pottery Club est un groupe de céramique libre et convivial, destiné aux personnes qui ont déjà une initiation à la poterie et qui souhaitent continuer à pratiquer. Pas de prof, pas de programme imposé — juste un petit groupe de passionnés qui travaillent à leur rythme.
