À propos de cet évènement

Genetic data is increasingly massively produced and used. Data ownership has become one of the major identifiable issues in bioethics, when it comes to modes and means of this data production and exploitation.

In France, Genetic data are considered as a part of the human body and protected as such. In other countries, they are objects of economic value. Bioethics, through the worldwide use of data medicine, must find the right balance between universalism and contextualism in the search for the common good.

Henri-Corto Stoeklé, PhD and Professor Christian Hervé will discuss their work on the subject during this 2-hour online workshop organized by the G.E.N.E. Graduate school for G.E.N.E. Students (M1 or M2 of the Magistère Européen de génétique and PhD students from BioSPC and HOB).
