Art Breakfast

Art Breakfast is a slow Friday morning series where creativity, good food, and good company come together.

How it works

Every Friday from March 20 to April 24, 9:30–11am at Poesie Coffee. Each session stands alone — drop in for one Friday or come to all six. You'll be guided through the theme step by step, with all materials provided. The group is small and the atmosphere is relaxed. Whether you've never picked up a brush or you sketch every day, you're welcome here.

Session Themes

March 20 — Thread & Needle on Paper
We start with something tactile and slow: cross-stitch and thread work directly on paper. No sewing experience needed.

March 27 — Collage & Drawing
We combine collage scraps with hand-drawn marks to build an intuitive sketchbook page.

April 4 — Botanicals in Mixed Media
Real or imaginary plants built up in layers — ink outlines, watercolour washes, collaged paper textures.

April 10 — Stamping & Pattern
Stamps, stencils, sponges, found objects, oil pastels, ink pads. Repeat patterns and texture-building

April 17 — Colour & Composition
A short intro to colour theory — harmony, contrast, mixing

April 24 — Mixed Media Combined
Using whichever materials spoke to you across the series, you create one richly layered page that's your own.

Hi, I'm Katharina — originally from Austria, now slowly making Paris my second home. Creativity and community have been my way of putting down roots here.
