The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance, in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) and the National Centre of Excellence in Research and Innovation (NCER FutureFinTech) is pleased to invite you, as part of the AI Lecture Series, to the lecture: AI in legal practice: trends and implementation - first lessons learnedArtificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping legal practice, moving from experimentation to operational deployment.This lecture explores current trends, including generative AI, automated drafting, contract analytics and other aspects. It examines how law firms are implementing these tools in practice.Drawing on experiences from early implementation, the session highlights key lessons learned: governance and compliance challenges, data security considerations, change management, and the critical role of human oversight. Speakers:Prof. Jean-Louis Schiltz (introduction)Honorary Professor at the University of Luxembourg / Co-chair of the Ministerial Advisory Board for AI in Finance / Senior Partner at Schiltz &amp; Schiltz Maxime LlerenaCo-implementation Lead of AI at Schiltz &amp; Schiltz / PartnerMaxime Llerena is a Partner at Schiltz &amp; Schiltz. He joined the firm in 2012, the year he was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar. He co-heads the corporate department. Maxime studied law at the University of Strasbourg (France) and the University of Sussex (Brighton, United Kingdom). He holds a Master's in Business Law and a Master's in Banking and Finance Law, specializing in Corporate Law, both earned at the University of Strasbourg (France). Zoe WagnerCo-implementation Lead of AI at Schiltz &amp; Schiltz / Member of the AI Working Group of the Luxembourg Bar / Senior CounselZoé Wagner is an Avocat à la Cour at Schiltz &amp; Schiltz. She joined the firm in 2018, the year she was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar. Zoe teaches Fintech law at the University of Luxembourg. She is a former chair of the Conference of the Young Bar of Luxembourg (CJBL). She studied at the University of Aix-Marseille (France), where she earned a Master’s in Corporate Law and Taxation, and completed a prestigious three-year program in Business Law, Taxation, and Accounting.
