My teaching philosophy is centered around compassion, collaboration, and connection.I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, into a family rich in Performing Arts and Visual Fine Art. My journey led me to Takoma Park, Maryland, where I discovered my passion for teaching in this vibrant community.With over 20 years of experience in Classical and Gospel music, and performances in New York, my expertise spans genres like Lofi, Bossa Nova, Jazz, Soul, Afrobeats, Reggae, Pop, Rock, Acapella, R&B, and Folk. By practicing yoga and mindfulness through the years, I developed simple, holistic methods to help students learn music through all their senses by getting grounded.
