Fuel Socl
WHAT WE'RE ABOUT:
Writing Together on Fuel is a space for people interested in writing as a shared, social activity. The group explores what happens when writing moves out of isolation and into a live, collaborative setting where scenes unfold through dialogue and ideas develop in response to what others write. Rather than focusing on output, productivity, or critique, this group centers on presence, play, and mutual attention. Writing is treated as something that can be inhabited, explored, and experienced collectively, even in small moments. The group is open to people with a wide range of backgrounds and levels of experience, including those who don’t usually think of themselves as writers.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Events in this group use Fuel, a roleplay-based writing environment designed for small, private sessions. Each gathering is time-limited and self-contained, with no public posting, metrics, or ongoing feeds. The emphasis is on the experience of writing together in the moment, rather than on performance or outcomes. Over time, participants may also be invited to bring short scenes of their own and see how others inhabit their characters. Many people find that this process offers new perspectives on their material and a different relationship to their own writing. Sessions are hosted by the creator of Fuel, who is interested in the social and emotional potential of screenplay scenes and collaborative dialogue. All live sessions are entirely human-to-human, and text written during sessions is not used to train language models. If you’re curious about collaborative writing, roleplay through dialogue, or simply experiencing writing in a different way, you’re welcome to join a session and see how it feels.
