Kaye Powell
Kaye Powell is a first-generation Caribbean woman, born in London to Jamaican parents, whose lifelong passion for knitting weaves together creativity, heritage, and community. Taught by her mother at age 12, Kaye sees knitting not just as a craft but as a meditative practice — each stitch a reflection of love, intention, and resilience. In 2019, she founded NW10 Knitters, a welcoming group for knitters and crocheters in North West London. As she grows her online presence, Kaye continues to share her own work and champion the creativity of others, inspiring connection one stitch at a time.
