YogaBears with Laura Lu
I am a YogaBears trained children’s yoga instructor and qualified Early Years Teacher, with safeguarding and first aid training.
I work with children aged 4–14, supporting those who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or struggling with school life or school related trauma.
My mission is to create calm, nurturing spaces where children feel safe to be themselves. Through gentle yoga, breathing techniques, mindfulness and relaxation, me and the colourful YogaBears support and encourage children to build confidence, emotional resilience, using simple tools they can call upon when big feelings arise.
I believe that when children begin to learn how to recognise and regulate their bodies and emotions, they feel more capable, settled and ready to thrive — in school, at home and beyond.
I currently offer:
• Weekly small-group yoga sessions
• Holiday wellbeing sessions
I am also open to working with schools and community organisations in the future.
Every session is inclusive, non-competitive and centred around kindness — helping children leave feeling calmer, stronger and more secure within themselves.
