BE Ka Art Studio
A playful space where art, wellbeing and human connection converge.
Hi! I’m Elena, an Italian visual artist and teacher from Bologna who is now based in London.
I’ve always been passionate about creativity, and I began studying Fine Arts and Sciences as a teenager, specialising in architecture and design.
I have first-class degrees, including a BA in Painting and Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (where I worked as an assistant to a professor on the etching course), a Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Arts and a Master's in Art and Science from Central Saint Martins (UAL). I am also certified in Creative Health and Wellbeing through Artmaking by Central Saint Martins, and I have an Enhanced DBS check as I teach on well-known platforms such as Tutorful and MyTutor.
My former roles as a Hata yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner also shape my approach to creativity and teaching.
Alongside my studio practice, I have worked as a photographer and graphic designer for international artists, assisted in galleries and restoration studios, and exhibited my work in Bologna, Venice, Milan and London.
As artistic practice can be isolating at times, I began teaching to share my knowledge, connect with others and create meaningful moments through art.
I love teaching because I enjoy connecting with people and witnessing the transformative power of art. My classes are open to anyone curious about creativity; no prior experience is necessary. I aim to make my workshops as accessible, allergy-friendly and environmentally sustainable as possible. I have taught students of all ages and nationalities, both online and in person, in one-to-one and group settings.
My approach is relaxed and playful, encouraging you to connect with materials, others and yourself in a supportive, colourful and joyful space.
At BE Ka Art Studio, you’ll find classes both in person and online, where you can explore your creativity and meet new people in a welcoming and friendly artistic environment.
