MAD Brussels and Mekanika join forces to present a hands-on workshop on digital milling, open to all creatives curious about integrating new fabrication techniques into their practice. On October 1st, 2025, they invite designers, makers, and independent professionals to the MAD Incubator for an afternoon of exploration and experimentation.

Julien De Mesmaeker - Mekanika
Julien De Mesmaeker is a CNC expert at Mekanika, a company developing open-source, modular machines for independent and sustainable manufacturing.
This workshop will focus on digital milling and how it can be used throughout the creative process, from prototyping to customization and packaging. Participants will engage in live demonstrations and practical exercises using CAD/CAM tools, learning how to create unique, tailor-made pieces with precision and flexibility. The session is designed for all levels of experience and a wide range of materials.
