Speakers: Virginie Verdon

Virginie Verdon is a seasoned board professional who helps startup and scale-up founders build boards that truly add value. She has served as chairperson and board member across numerous startups and SMEs — both as an independent director and as a representative of investors or key shareholders. Founders often call on Virginie when they want to take their board to the next level — whether that means assessing how the board is functioning, rethinking its composition, or bringing in new members with the right skills and mindset. She’s especially drawn to organizations in transformation. Over the years, she has supported IPOs, led a full privatization process, and restructured SMEs and corporate units across complex, multicultural environments. Passionate about how governance can accelerate performance and clarity, she created the Startup Board Academy, a hands-on program designed to help founders and board members turn their boards into real strategic assets.
