About this event

What COVID-19 did to Political Communication

Organized in the framework of the Politics & Public Policy Stream of the School of Public Affairs, the Policy seminar aims to shed expert light on a current issue by combining approaches and points of view. The objective is to give students different reading skills on these topics and to let them question the issues and challenges that affect our societies. The theme selected this year is COVID-19 crisis and its effects on society. By crossing practitioners, researchers and academics' points of view, the 4 sessions offered this semester will examine how the current health crisis has deeply affected society, politics, economics and communication.

The fourth conference will deal with the Effects of the COVID-19 crisis on Political Communication. Florence Faucher, professeur of Politial Science at Sciences Po and Philippe Moreau-Chevrolet, president of MCBG Conseil, will present some of their latest research and will particularly analyse uses of communication by governments in the face of the crisis, at national and European level.

Speakers:

  • Florence Faucher, Professor of political science at Sciences Po, Centre d’études européennes et de politique comparée (CEE)
  • Philippe Moreau-Chevrolet, President of MCBG Conseil

The moderation will be carried out by a group of students of the Politics and Public Policy Stream.
