Course Description:

Understanding the opportunities and resposibilities of being a purpose driven organisation: Embracing ethical manufacturing practices, companies can not only ensure the well-being of workers and minimize their environmental footprint but also enhance their brand reputation and build trust with consumers who increasingly prioritize ethical considerations in their purchasing decisions.

Management of Ethics in the Organisation: Understand how to include and manage ethics in the strategic and management plans of any organisation, whether social or not, to take theory to thorough reality in any organisation.

Additive Manufacturing as an Eco-innovation Tool: Learn about the discipline of ecodesign and how additive manufacturing accelerates the eco-innovation process.

Learning outcomes:

  • Recognize diversity in the aging workplace.
  • Promoting skills and abilities thought Human Centered Design.
  • Integrate diversity in the design of workplaces, and in the new human-machine interfaces.

Assessment method and certification:

  • Students will be assessed based on their active participation, involvement in the discussions and presentation of case study results.
  • Students will be provided with a well-recognised EIT Manufacturing Participation Certificate.
