Workshop Description

Dive deep into vocal jazz with hands-on sessions led by an experienced instructor. This immersive 5-day workshop will cover improvisation, phrasing, rhythm, and performance techniques, accompanied by world-class jazz musicians. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, this workshop offers tailored guidance in a supportive environment.

About the Workshop

Led by acclaimed jazz vocalist and educator Maja Savic, this workshop focuses on vocal technique, improvisation, phrasing, and authentic jazz interpretation. With over a decade of performance and teaching experience across Europe, Maja brings warmth, expertise, and a passion for vocal jazz that inspires all levels. The workshop includes live accompaniment by pianist Salvatore Sangiovanni and bassist Renato Palmieri, creating an immersive musical experience culminating in a final concert.

Her unique method includes:

• Bodywork, breath & vocal technique
• Jazz & Brazilian phrasing and rhythm
• Circle songs & musical storytelling
• Arranging and interpreting your songs
• Band communication and confidence building
