The panel features:​

David Gelles, reporter at The New York Times Climate Desk and author of Dirtbag Billionaire: HowYvon Chouinard Built Patagonia, Made a Fortune, and Gave It All Away. He will share insights from hisreporting on Patagonia’s founder and other companies that are redefining what it means to be aresponsible brand.​


Luciana Batista Pereira, VEJA’s Sourcing Director in Brazil, oversees the brand’s supply chain fromraw materials to finished product. She will offer an inside perspective on the challenges and realities ofbuilding a transparent and fair production model.​


Mara Hoffman, designer, artist, and founder of her namesake label, has long explored the intersection​ of fashion and environmental responsibility. She will reflect on her journey of building - and ultimately​ closing - her brand, and the lessons it offers for the industry today.
