UPEN's theme for this year is 'connecting and collaborating across the academic-policy engagement landscape'. In this conference, we will hear from Kersten England OBE on place-based policymaking, Hannah White CBE on the Institute for Government and what this year and future years might hold for evidence-informed policymaking, and a panel on place-based policymaking. We will also be holding facilitated discussions, networking and showcase spaces to highlight the variety and richness of those working in the sector.

Will the event be online?

Unfortunately, we are unable to livestream the event this year. We are aiming to record the speakers and panel, and upload this onto UPEN's Youtube. We will also aim to organise an online specific talk for those who cannot attend in person.
