Abstract
The SES Chair of the University of Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to a Distinguished Lecture on the US Legislation for Space Launching Activities! This lecture will be delivered in person by a special guest from the United States: Professor Dr. Mark Sundahl, Director of the Global Space Law Center at Cleveland-State University.
The lecture will take place on June 9th at 5:30 pm CEST in room B0001 of the Weicker Building, and will be followed by a networking reception. Due to max capacity limitations, only attendees with proof of registration will be admitted to the venue, so

About Prof. Mark J. Sundahl
Prof. Dr. Mark J. Sundahl is Professor of Law and the Director of the Global Space Law Center at Cleveland State University. Prof. Sundahl is a worldwide known space lawyer. His scholarship focuses primarily on the business, legal, and policy issues related to private activities in space. Prof. Sundahl has served on the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC) which advises the Federal Aviation Administration regarding new regulations governing private space activity and has served as a member and advisor to the U.S. delegation to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. He most recently served as a member of NASA’s Regulatory and Policy Committee which is charged with advising the NASA Advisory Committee on regulatory reform. In addition to his academic work, Prof. Sundahl is the principal of ASTRALEX LLC, a space law and policy consultancy.
