"The Strength of Weak Signals" Open-Lab @UNESCO Futures Literacy Summit
Event Information
About this Event
As part UNESCO Future Literacies Summit, LIID Future Lab and MJV Innovation host an open-lab session to explore the many facets and benefits of weak-signals research, whether from a future literacy, foresight, innovation, sustainability or Covid-19 crisis perspective.
Weak signals detection and analysis is crucial to the art of foresight and can be a specially inclusive and responsive practice in high uncertainty contexts. It is however rarely discussed in depth.
In that regard, the session will highlight a white paper on weak signals recently published by BNP Paribas Risk Innovation with other members of the Chief Innovation Officer Club of Paris such as Malakoff Humanis and Thalès Alenia Space (download white paper here).
Guests: Danielle Winandy and Pauline Bantegnie (BNP Paribas Risk Innovation Office), Peter Poppe (BNP Paribas Risk Innovation Champion), Siham Harroussi (Malakoff Humanis) and Cédric Balty (Thales Alenia Space)
Hosts: Raphaele Bidault-Waddington (LIID Future Lab) and Fabricio Astua (MJV Innovation)
