The cosmology of grief: workshops

The cosmology of grief are movement workshops that take us through a tapestry of textures, stories , and sticky connections touching grief.

This is the space, communal place, where we can invite ourselves to bravely taste our personal grief, and bridge them to a larger web, where they can be held compassionately.

The energy is curiosity, deep compassion, togetherness.

The exploration is intuitive, sensual and reflective.

Join us for this gentle, vivid yet loving evening where we make space for our personal griefs that connect us to a wider web of grief, a collective one, as a whole.

The space-time:

First workshop Wednesday October 15th, 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm

Second workshop Saturday November 22nd, 6 pm to 8 pm

Both workshops are at Point éphémère, 200 quai de Valmy (street entrance), Paris 10ème

The tapestry:

opening circle : introduction & reflections on the cosmology of grief

grounding : somatic guidance to reconnect with your body and the present moment

somatic dance

landing : notes on our experiences (words, drawings) & sharings

closing circle

No level of experience is required.

These practices require no prior knowledge and are based on intuitive movement and lived experiences: a personal exploration with no performative goal, an opportunity to cultivate a sense of curiosity towards all sensations and emotions present in the body-mind, as they appear.

Accessibility and Comm:

- The venue is wheelchair accessible
- Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided
- Covid is making a comeback, making sure we aren't spreading it around is community care : if you have any Covid symptoms: please do not come unless tested negative

Our workshops aim to be solidary and inclusive.

- Standard rate – to cover teaching and venue rental costs : €45
- Solidarity rate – for those facing financial hardship, job seekers, students, BIPOC people, queer folks, and disabled people : €35

- Support rate – helps us offer the solidarity rate to others : €55

This workshop is one half of a two-part journey. While joining both isn't a requirement, we gently encourage it — so there’s space not only to explore, but to let the experience settle, to root and unfold. Attending both offers a deeper immersion into the themes we'll be touching, tasting, and moving through.

If you already feel called to join the full journey, we offer a special price for both sessions:
- Full journey rate – to cover teaching and venue rental costs for both sessions : €80

- Full journey Solidarity rate – for those facing financial hardship, job seekers, students, BIPOC people, queer folks, and disabled people who still want to commit to the full series : €70
