This holistic approach to yoga is about raising the practionner’s awareness through the postural practice. It is not about reproducing shapes, but learning each time how to kindly listen to what’s there today, in this body, heart and mind. And from there, we sail together into movement, gently creating space, breathing, opening from within. A sequence of postures is proposed for you to find your own path, guidance is offered also for the placement of the awareness and concentration. Like a meditation in movement, to cultivate feeling one’s own experience, and act with intention. And in the moments of silence, we invite peace and a kind presence to oneself.
Little by little, the practitioner is better connected to themselves and improves the strength and health of both body and mind.
About Tchivett: After having spent many years studying and practicing dance, choreography, performance as well as martial arts, meditation, qi gong and somatic work, I adopted yoga as a practice during the lockdowns. I've learnt a very meditative style for my teacher training (integral yoga) which is very good at stillness and concentration placement. I've woven it in the way i teach with a more dynamic approach (vinyassa) together with the many transferable skills that i developed from my previous background. The personal touch i bring in my teaching is a sense of openness, non dogmatism, and playfulness. I deeply believe in the benefits that this practice can offer to people and i’m always happy to bring others with me on a yoga journey.
