The California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, one of the leading youth orchestras in the American state of California, will be on tour in France, Belgium and Netherlands this summer. Tchaikovsky's poignant and majestic final symphony, which received its premiere only 9 days before the composer's death, will accompany Sibelius' rousing tone poem Finlandia in what promises to be a memorable concert in the inspiring surroundings of De Duif.

Het California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, een van de toonaangevende jeugdorkesten in de Amerikaanse staat Californië, gaat deze zomer op tournee door Frankrijk, België en Nederland. Tsjaikovski's aangrijpende en majestueuze laatste symfonie, die slechts 9 dagen voor de dood van de componist in première ging, zal samengaan met Sibelius' opzwepende toongedicht Finlandia in wat een gedenkwaardig concert belooft te worden in de inspirerende omgeving van De Duif.
