In the wake of the Novi Sad tragedy that claimed 16 lives in November 2024, students in Serbia ignited a non-violent uprising demanding democratic renewal. Their movement — determined, creative, and largely ignored by international media — became a unifying force across ethnic, ideological, and generational lines.

This talk offers a rare chance to hear their voices firsthand: what sparked the protests, how they organized, and why they chose to stay and resist rather than leave.
