You are facing the challenge of the energy retrofitting of privately owned condominiums in your city? How to improve the decision making process to accelerate works? How to federate building professionals to improve cross-trade cooperation?
Meet the Paris Climate Agency team who developed the CoachCopro approach, guiding condominium owners and building professionals through an iterative process which cultivates trust relationships and accelerates retrofitting.
43% of the European population lives in condominiums. In the North-West part of Europe, 75% of these buildings are residential and over 80% are privately owned, of which 70% were built before 1980 – which are primarily of low energy performance and consequently in need of renovation work. In the EU, retrofitting is therefore the key target for energy efficiency policies in the residential sector. The Paris Climate Agency has developed and implemented, together with 15 other local authorities in France, a unique facilitation process to accelerate the energy retrofitting of condominiums trageting both owners and building professionals.
This study visit is organised within the ACE-Retrofitting Interreg North-West Europe project.
