Join us for our singing retreat holiday from 7-14 September 2024 in Agon Coutainville, a seaside resort par excellence, located in the Manche department of Normandy, France. We will be staying in a luxurious beachfront townhouse that boasts breathtaking sea views. The property features six bedrooms, six bathrooms/shower rooms, an open-plan living area, a private terrace, and a courtyard. The sea is just a few feet away from the townhouse, providing an unforgettable seaside experience.
Our singing retreats have been running for over 25 years in France, and we have welcomed back many loyal and returning guests. We were even featured and recommended in national press, such as The Guardian.
Take time to relax, connect with yourself, and sing from the heart
Absolutely all singing abilities are welcome on our singing retreats. We aim to share the joy and benefits of finding your voice, singing together, and most importantly, singing from the heart.
We will sing various musical styles, including pop, rock, folk, and world music, as well as simple and soulful songs, chants, mantras, and sound meditations from around the world. Our aim is to uplift, relax, bring joy, and nurture our well-being. We welcome all singing levels and abilities, and you do not need to read music as all songs will be taught by ear. Our focus is on developing and using our own authentic, natural, and beautiful voices by working holistically with the breath, tone, control, and vocal range.
Nurture the heart, body and soul
Our small group retreats allow us to personalize our daily retreat sessions to the group's needs and requirements. We will have singing, meditation, mantra chanting, and yoga sessions suitable for all abilities, and optional holistic well-being therapies such as reiki and well-being massage. You will have plenty of time to rest, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the Normandy coast and countryside. There are beautiful coastal walks straight from the front door along the promenade.

During your singing retreat holiday, you will have the pleasure of enjoying delicious home-cooked meals that are prepared with love and served during our shared group mealtimes every day. Our menu features a variety of mouth-watering dishes influenced by various cuisines from around the world, made using fresh seasonal ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible. You can expect to indulge in slow-cooked fragrant curries, classic French dishes, homemade cakes and more. Our experienced cook, Ema, has been preparing meals for groups and retreats for years, and her recipes have been published in several publications. Currently, she is working on a cookbook that will feature some of the most popular recipes from our retreats. You can also find many of Ema's recipes on our HeartSong Normandie blog.
