The French Spring Festival is a multi-disciplinary festival fostering artistic links between France, Sri Lanka and the Maldives since 2012. Organised jointly by the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, the network of Alliance Française in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, with the support of our partners, the French Spring Festival presents a wide series of events showcasing the innovative and modern initiatives by artists and intellectuals.

Concert of Pauline Drand, current resident at the de Saram house with the Geoffrey Bawa house, will be having her first concert in Kandy !

As part of the Fête De La Musique 2022, the Ambassade de France à Sri Lanka et aux Maldives is organising a Music Concert by Pauline Drand in both Colombo and Kandy!

Pauline Drand is a Parisian singer-songwriter and musician. She writes in the spirit of French tradition and pop melodies with Anglo-Saxon influences. Carried by a timeless voice and a demanding instrumental practice (guitar, piano, keyboards), her first album Faits Bleus released in 2018 invites the discovery of songs that, like impressionist paintings, summon by touches of melodies and words the landscape of her emotions.

This year in Kandy, Music Day 2022 will take place at Hotel Atelier, a magical place to stay in Kandy when seeking an atmosphere, which a bit of artistic activity - Join us to have a great night with French music and delightful people to meet, and a special Open Mic Session for all in Kandy Town!!!
