“Grandmothers Who Amazed the World” – Kazakh Cultural Project at the Fashion Week in France
The unique cultural initiative “Grandmothers Who Amazed the World” is set to be presented at one of the most prestigious fashion stages in France.
This project is dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons (October 1st) and to the Month of Respect for the Elderly in Kazakhstan, symbolizing deep gratitude, timeless wisdom, and the important role of elder generations in society.
The project is created by Raushan Anuarbekova, a renowned fashion designer, member of the Eurasian Union of Designers, and academician of the National Academy of Designers. Known for her contemporary collections inspired by Kazakh national traditions, she has already presented her work at Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and Aspara Fashion Week.
The main mission of the project is to highlight the elegance, dignity, and cultural richness of Kazakh grandmothers, bringing their timeless image to the global stage. Through modern interpretations of traditional clothing, the collection aims to showcase the beauty, wisdom, and heritage of the Kazakh people to the international fashion community.
By presenting this new collection in France, “Grandmothers Who Amazed the World” not only introduces a unique artistic vision but also celebrates cultural diversity, intergenerational respect, and the global dialogue of traditions through fashion.
