About this event
The French Spring Festival is a multi-disciplinary festival fostering artistic links between France, Sri Lanka and the Maldives since 2012. Organised jointly by the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, the network of Alliance Française in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, with the support of our partners, the French Spring Festival presents a wide series of events showcasing the innovative and modern initiatives by artists and intellectuals.

Come take a look at what our two resident musicians at the De Saram House have been up to, as they open the doors to their studios and discuss their works-in-progress!
PROGRAM
3, 5 and 6 PM : Sound performance and artist talk by Marin Escande, music composer and musicologist
4 PM : Artist talk by Pauline Drand, singer and songwriter
6:30 PM : Refreshments
Curatorial tours of the de Saram house by Larissa Guimaraes, assistant curator of the Geoffrey Bawa Trust, will be offered throughout the event.
The event will take place physically, strictly adhering to all health guidelines against COVID-19. The event is free and accessible to all.
