We are pleased to invite street and documentary photographers from around the world to take part in this thrilling opportunity to capture the essence(s) of Nice's streets and stories, exhibiting their work in a prominent local gallery.
With only sixteen spots available, our jury members will select one image from each of the chosen portfolios to be featured in a 4-week collective exhibition at the Tchaikovsky art gallery in Nice.
The photographer with the most outstanding portfolio will be awarded an all-expenses-paid Residency Program in Nice. During this program, the winner will spend a week exploring the city and capturing its unique character through a personal photographic project.
The winner will have the opportunity to edit their images daily and work on creating a series that will be showcased in a 3 week exhibition.
This Residency Program will be mentored by renowned international documentary and street photographer Ximena Echagüe.

Who is organizing this call?
The first International Photography Residency Program and Exhibitions in Nice, France, is co-hosted and mentored by renowned international photographer Ximena Echagüe and organized by international cultural management start-up Gandiva MediArts.
Who can Submit?
We welcome photographers of all nationalities who are 18 or older and fluent in English, French or Spanish.
For this programme we are inviting photographers who do not reside in the Nice region.
What to Submit?
Please submit (via THIS LINK) a cohesive series of10 photographs taken within the last five years telling a story of people or places, indoor or outdoor, in either color or black and white.
Each person may submit a maximum of three entries.
Photos must be 1200 pixels on their longest side at 72 dpi.

Send your application and your portfolio via THIS LINK (woobox.com), mentioning your Eventbrite ticket number.
Please submit a cohesive series of 10 photographs taken within the last five years telling a story of people or places, indoor or outdoor, in either color or black and white.
Each image must be titled with the initials of the participant, followed by their ventbrite ticket number and the sequence number if there is one. Ex: AH8360652719_01; AH8360652719_02; AH8360652719_03,...
We cannot accept personal names included in images: the jury will select the best portfolios anonymously.
Photos must be 1200 pixels on their longest side at 72 dpi.
Each person may submit a maximum of three entries.
Winners will be asked to send their images in high-resolution.

Con tan solo dieciséis plazas disponibles, nuestros jurado seleccionará una imagen de cada uno de los portfolios elegidos para formar parte de la exposición colectiva durante 4 semanas en la Galería de Arte Tchaikovsky en Niza.
El fotógrafo(a) con el portfolio más destacado, ganará el Programa de Residencia en Niza con todos los gastos pagos.
El ganador(a) pasará una semana explorando la ciudad y capturando su carácter único a través de un proyecto fotográfico personal.

Damos la bienvenida a fotógrafos de todas las nacionalidades, mayores de 18 años y que hablen inglés, francés o español.
Para este programa, invitamos a fotógrafos que no residan en la región de Niza.
¿Qué presentar?
Despues de registrarte, envía una serie de 10 imágenes que mantengan una coherencia narrativa en su conjunto, tomadas en los últimos cinco años. Puede tratarse de personas o lugares, en interiores o exteriores, en color o blanco y negro.

Cada participante puede enviar un máximo de tres entradas.

Yes, we invite street and documentary photographers of all nationalities who are 18 or older to apply. As long as you have your own equipment and can submit high quality photographs. By applying, you are investing in an opportunity to expand your skills and take your photography to the next level.

The Winner will be awarded a return trip to Nice, 7 nights of accommodation in the heart of the city, and a 50 Eur / day per diem. They will be mentored daily by photographer Ximena Echagüe and will have the chance to exhibit their work at the end of the programme in a local gallery.
The Jury will be officially announced February 1st, 2024. These will be 2 professional photographers based in Nice, France. The results will be announced April 1st, 2024.
