About this event

Paris during WWII and the German Occupation

Overview of the main places used by the Germans to house soldiers, officers and Army headquarters in Paris. The walk will also speak about the Occupation seen on a daily basis with the eyes of anonymous people. With sometimes rare photos, this walk will also talk about the Deportation of the Jews, the Resistance, or daily life between Germans and Parisians. It will end at Place de la Concorde with more pictures and recounts of the Liberation of Paris in August 1944.

2 hours outdoor tour in English.

The meeting point is outside the Holiday Inn Hotel, at 32 Boulevard Poissonnière, right at Grands Boulevards metro station exit number 1
