More than a recovery plan: Building a greener and fairer European economy
On the occasion of the French Presidency of the European Union, Mr Paolo Gentiloni, European Commissioner for Economy, will be present at Sciences Po on Thursday 27 January at 3pm for a meeting-debate with students.
He will present the European Commission's economic policy priorities, in particular:
- Stepping up the fight against tax evasion and avoidance
- Making a success of the EU’s unprecedented recovery plan, NextGenerationEU
- Steering to a successful conclusion the review of EU economic governance to promote sustainable growth and facilitate the investments needed for the green and digital transition
You will be able to ask all your questions directly to Mr Gentiloni during the debate. The debate will be conducted in English and moderated by Francesco Saraceno, Economist at OFCE (Observatoire français des conjonctures économiques), Professor of economics at Sciences Po and Scientific Advisor for the Economics and Public Policy stream at the School of Public Affairs.
