L’Intelligence artificielle IA est aujourd’hui au cœur des préoccupations. Ses conséquences sur notre société sont immenses et c’est ce qui la rend incontournable. Souvent considérée comme source d’une quatrième révolution industrielle, elle impactera indéniablement chaque secteur : sécurité, environnement, santé…

Face à la montée d'une telle technologie et d'un potentiel bouleversement de notre société, de nombreuses craintes et fantasmes voient le jour. Malgré toutes ces hypothèses, une chose est sûre, l’IA regroupe des concepts mathématiques réels. Comprendre ces concepts permet de mieux appréhender quels sont les réels atouts du développement de cette technologie.

Fort de leur volonté de contribuer à l’innovation et à sa démocratisation, la Gendarmerie Nationale (GN), l’Agence Française de développement (AFD), le Programme des Nations Unies pour l’Environnement (PNUE), 3DS OUTSCALE (Fournisseur de Cloud) Garage ISEP et l’ISEP vous proposent d’approfondir vos connaissances techniques en intelligence artificielle en travaillant sur des problématiques concrètes : la sécurité et le développement durable.

Cet Hackathon sera l’occasion de vous former sur des framework de NLP et deep-learning : Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, BERT, SMITH… 3DS OUTSCALE vous ouvre ses services et son infrastructure pour mettre en place vos modèles; une occasion pour vous former sur un Cloud de confiance et hyper-sécurisé.

L’événement est ouvert à tous, que vous ayez envie de découvrir ce domaine ou que vous soyez déjà expérimenté. Deux challenges seront proposés :

• 1.un challenge orienté sécurité (par la GN) : Dans le domaine de la sécurité, la transcription de parole est au cœur de la réalisation d'une grande diversité de missions rentrant dans son champ de compétence. Son caractère chronophage et fastidieux conduit à rechercher les moyens d'en automatiser la tâche, permettant ainsi d'accroître la performance et la qualité du service rendu au public. La compétition proposée a donc pour objectif d'évaluer la pertinence de l'emploi de systèmes automatiques de transcription, dénommés Speech-to-Text, appliqués à une variété de sources d'enregistrements (radiophoniques, télévisuels, téléphoniques, etc.)

• 2.un challenge orienté Développement durable (par l’AFD et le PNUE) : La protection de l’environnement, la réduction des inégalités, l’accès à l’éduction et à la santé pour toutes et tous, sont quelques-uns des Objectifs du Développement Durable (ODD). Les méthodes expertes d’IA sont appelées à jouer un rôle croissant pour identifier les leviers d’action prioritaires, et orienter le système financier vers un monde meilleur. Le PNUE et l’AFD vous invitent à relever un défi à la pointe des méthodes de NLP. Il s’agira d’évaluer les méthodes permettant d’identifier précisément les 169 cibles ODD dans un corpus de descriptions de projet.

Les repas seront offerts et plus de 4000€ de prix sont à gagner.

Ce hackathon se déroulera dans les locaux de l’ISEP à Issy les Moulineaux au 10 rue de Vanves.

Des mentors et experts passeront dans les équipes afin d'apporter des conseils techniques et fonctionnels aux participants.

Artificial Intelligence is today at the heart of the concerns. Its consequences on our society are huge and that makes it an essential subject. Often considered as the source of a fourth industrial revolution, it will undeniably impact each sector: security, health, transport, environment ...

In response to the rise of such technology and potential disruption of our society, many fears and fantasies are emerging. In spite of all these assumptions, one thing is certain, the AI gathers real mathematical concepts, understand those concepts will allow us to understand what are the real assets of the development of artificial intelligence.

To contribute to innovation and its democratization, National Gendarmerie (GN), French Development Agency (AFD), United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), 3DS OUSTCALE (Hyper-Secure Cloud Provider), Garage ISEP and ISEP offer you to deepen your technical knowledge in Artificial Intelligence by working on concrete issues: Security and Sustainable development.

You will be able to develop your skills on deep learning frameworks : Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, BERT, SMITH,… 3DS OUTSCALE will offer you to test your models on their secure Cloud, which will also permit you to learn how to use an IAAS.

The event is open to everyone, whether you want to discover this field or you are experienced in it. Two challenges will be proposed:

- 1. Security-oriented challenge (by the GN): In the field of security, speech transcription is at the heart of the realization of a wide variety of missions falling within the GN’s field of competence. It’ important to automate this task because of its time-consuming and tedious nature , thus making it possible to increase the performance and quality of the service provided to the public.

The proposed competition therefore aims to assess the relevance of the use of automatic transcription systems, called Speech-to-Text, applied to a variety of recording sources (radio, television, telephone, etc.).

- 2. Sustainable Development-oriented challenge (by AFD and UNEP): Environmental protection, reduction of inequalities, access to education and health for all, are some of the Objectives of Sustainable Development (SDGs). AI expert methods are called upon to play an increasing role in identifying priority levers and guiding the financial system towards a better world. UNEP and AFD invite you to take up a technical challenge at the forefront of NLP methods. This will involve evaluating the methods for precisely identifying the 169 SDG targets in a corpus of project descriptions.

This hackathon will take place in ISEP premises in Issy les Moulineaux at 10 rue de Vanves.

Mentors and experts will be present during the event and bring the teams technical and functional advices.
