Crypto-assets have experienced rapid growth in recent years.
According to the IMF their total market capitalisation has increased from less than $20 billion in January 2017 to more than $3 trillion in November 2021.But this capitalisation has dropped under 1 trillion in mid 2022 .In addition to being sensitive to economic conditions,crypto assets are becoming increasingly intertwined with the financial system. There is an urgent need to design appropriate regulatory policies to address challenges such as financial stability and safety for users.
